• All applications to take forest produce or to operate forest-based industries shall be processed according to prescribed procedures.

• Licences to take forest produce shall be issued within a period of not more than six (6) months from the date of approval, provided the required terms are fulfilled.

• Licences to operate forest-based industries shall be issued within a period of not more than one (1) month from the completion of mill construction provided the required terms are fulfilled.

• Decissions on applications for extensions of licences to take forest produce or to operate forest-based industries shall be made within a period of not more than one (1) month from the date such applications were received.

• Information and feedback received from the public will be acknowledge. All complaints pertaining to forest offences shall be acted upon within a period of not more than three (3) days.
